Goodbye 2008...

I hope everyone has a fun night celebrating. We're keeping it low-key with three other neighbor couples and hanging out next door. I'm taking honey-pear sparklers to drink. Very easy: pear nectar mixed with honey in bottom of champagne flutes and topped off with champagne. Tasty. We're snacking and playing games and will be dressed comfortably. Ok, I'd rather dress up, but after the last couple of hectic weeks it will be nice to be close to home. What are you doing?

Happy New Year to you and your family! We are doing it low key too. First to in-laws for sone Wii play-offs. Then to our good friends for overnight slumber party and a relaxing day following with a chili feed, lego building, magazine reading, Wii playing lazy day.

Happy New Year! Wow. I love the sound of that drink. Must try. We went out with friends and all our kids. All SIX of our kids! Lots of fun, lots of coconut shrimp and lots of rum runners (well, not too many. We did have the kids.) Here's to a great 2009!
