Beyond glistening.

I don't know about where you live, but down here in the south it has been MISERABLE these last few days. 100+ degrees. And so sticky humid. Being a lady, I don't usually sweat (slight exaggeration). However, I am beyond the glistening stage these last few days. This heat takes your breath away! Our friendly weathermen promise relief by tomorrow (think that means a cool 88 degrees), but, until then, I'll keep cool thoughts in my mind and a cool drink in my hand.

Stay cool! And wear sunscreen. I may or may not have gotten burned on Saturday at the pool! I bathe the minis in sunscreen and then forget parts of me!

I did the same thing yesterday! Burned the back of my arms. yikes. It was 103 here yesterday and had only dropped to 93 by 10:00pm. Stay cool!

This would drive me nuts. It's been pretty hot and humid here, which is pretty unusual for Chicago this time of year. We usually have 1-2 weeks of 90s in the summer - but this one is already heating up. My in-laws live in southern Indiana and they have been slammed with flooding, so it could be worse!

Bring on the heat. We are supposed to get to about 90 today and I am waiting, waiting for it. I try to be conservative, but when it is hot outside, I feel justified in showing some skin in a little tank top. I love it!!!

So sorry! I'll be you in July!

I do that too!! Get the kids all slathered up and then I get burnt to a crisp (maybe because I refuse to put anything over a 10SPF on me!) It's been COLD here - rainy and I still have my long sleeved shirts out...weird. I'll be dying in the heat come July and August though...ugh.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, your boys are adorable and it's so nice to "meet" you!!
