So my mom called me Sunday after church to tell me her latest horror story. You know the kind to scare you silly. It appears that one of her church friend's has a 41 year old daughter that just found out that she is pregnant. Ready for the scary part? She has a set of almost 16 year old twins- a boy and a girl and a husband who had a vasectomy years ago!!! 1- Not supposed to happen, 2- she was 2 years from sending twins to college and is STARTING OVER! Appears the vasectomy "reconnected," and 3- Mr. Pink had a vasectomy 2 years ago!!!
I hate hearing these things....I am perfectly content with my two children. I cannot imagine what she is feeling or this happening to me, but it could. Her mother said she cried for a day straight. Heck I'd cry for nine months! I'm a little teary-eyed for her now! I need to check into tubal ligation...

I've heard LOTS of stories like that! I think one of the key things is to remember to keep going in to those follow up appointments. Personally we want one more baby but after that my husband and I BOTH will get fixed, gotta lessen those chances of a wonderful surprise! lol
Whoa- that's a HUGE OMG. My college roommate had her tubes tied after #2 and now has #3. Yikes is all I have to say.
I can't even imagine. It would be so difficult to start over. So many things have changed in 16 years with kids and all the worries again...ugh. I hope she and her husband have a lot of energy. I think that would be the hard part. :) xoxo

Pink Martini- I am all with you on the energy thing. I could tell a difference when I was pregnant only 4 yrs later! But then energy to raise another one is a whole different subject.
trifitmom- thanks for stopping by. My cousin got pregnant with twins (#3 and #4 children) while on the pill! Antibiotics, too. That's why!
Wow. That is INSANE, I cannot believe that can happen!
