Reader opinions...

Yay or Nay? I'm interested to know. Because I'm thinking every 41 (cough, cough) stay-at-home mom needs a pair of these in her wardrobe. You know for school classroom volunteer days. Seriously, I think I'm liking them, but wouldn't have the opportunity to wear them very often. Have seen numerous variations of the peep toe bootie in magazines. What do you think?

Well, I couldn't pull them off. A) it's too cold here to wear open toes regularly in the winter. Snow would get in the toe part and my feet would be wet all day. Yuck. B)A heel that high for walking at work on my feet all day would be ouchy. C)My fashion sense is definitely not this edgy.

I don't think age is the issue. Weather isn't your issue either. I would say it's all about your closet. Do you have enough in your closet to wear them with or are they just going to be worn 4-5 times this winter and forgotten about next year? Are you "edgy" enough to pull them off or would you be self-conscious about them? And, finally, how often does Mr. P take you on hot dates? If often enough, then get them, rock a black slinky dress and a red pedicure, and you'll be good to go!

You made me laugh. Oh, I'd wear them all right, but not often. I think I should probably go with a closed toe bootie for more wear though. AND I have tried commenting on your blog, but have had problems lately. Not sure why?! You continue to dress that little boy in smocked clothes as long as you can. I sure did with mine complete with knee socks and two toned saddle oxfords!
