How long does it take hair to grow?

Ok, so here I am. New to the land of bloggers. My life may not be as exciting as it used to be (among the corporate world), but it's just as crazy. I was told by another blogger that this is therapeutic. In my opinion one can never have enough therapy. Ok, I lie. I can't even discuss some of my problems with myself...but I'm now willing to share for the enjoyment of others.

So my latest dilemma....little boys' haircuts! Is it really so difficult to understand my slightly southern accent when I say "I like their hair LONGER on top"? I even said "Just trim the top". Maybe I shouldn't have said trim at all. They ran with their scissors faster than I could select a coverless '06 magazine in the reception area. Our wonderful stylist is out recovering from back surgery (how dare she?) and mini #2 got the worst hair cut of his 2+ years Tuesday night! I believe he would have fared better doing it himself with his daddy's clippers. So if you see little sweetheart out and about, try not to stare at his scary head. I feel solely responsible. Luckily he loves me unconditionally and doesn't realize why I'm constantly putting a hat on his head.

Speaking of scary head, he just told me he wants to be an otter when he grows up complete with a tail. I think I've spent too long setting up this blog. I need to explain to him that he's going to grow up to be a doctor....

Thanks. I also love your sons' vests in your family photo. Where did you find them? I saw one in Ragsland catalog I liked. Yellows and greens. I'm looking for Easter.
