My son's elementary school is giving the vaccine on November 3rd. I'm SO paranoid about this. There are a couple of high schools in the Chicago area that closed for a week because 1000 kids out of 2000 (OMG!) got the swine flu. Holy #*%$. I think you're doing the right thing.Tippyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01438443736653419988noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8686894485181719830.post-86895023731588030852009-10-27T13:17:29.184-04:002009-10-27T13:17:29.184-04:00I'd keep my some home too if there was flu and...I'd keep my some home too if there was flu and he had asthma issues. Those two things are not a good combination. There has been flu (but not H1N1) at our preschool and I didn't keep Adam home, but you just do what's right for you and got with your gut.Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17786838392389718536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8686894485181719830.post-51561211624626204622009-10-27T10:37:40.530-04:002009-10-27T10:37:40.530-04:00Better safe than sorry!! It spread so badly here that school was let out for a week. One primary class had twelve kids out for flu. S had it last week and like you I was so worried because of his asthma. A teenager died from it less than an hour a way from us. S got through it really well but I had him at the doctor two days in a row checking his lungs. Maybe I'm the queen of overreacting but I would rather be over cautious than under. Keep that sweetie home and love on him. I can't believe I'm actually going to say this but....sometimes our moms are right. There will be other parties. (that was really hard to say ;)

~belleBellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14216941806907177541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8686894485181719830.post-12056745871375221992009-10-26T23:11:48.567-04:002009-10-26T23:11:48.567-04:00You're the mommy so you get to make all the to...You're the mommy so you get to make all the tough decisions.
